Why a liturgical calendar?
A year lived with Christ
Through the year the Church walks with Christ — from his birth to his Passion and Resurrection — together with Mary and the saints. Our calendar follows the Ge’ez reckoning: it tells the faithful when to feast, when to fast and how to pray, so that every season becomes a way to God.

- RememberThe angels and saints, month after month — Saint Michael on the 12th, Saint Gabriel on the 19th.
